Oggi sono andata a visitare Verona, una città con una storia straordinaria, romantica e speciale. Ma io mi chiedo una cosa, perche ricordiamo le persone con tanto interesse solamente doppo la morte? Dobbiamo imparare a apprezzare le persone quando sono in vita, godire di tutti i momenti passati insieme a loro, apprezzarli per tutto quello che sono, per tutto quello che possono diventare e per tutto che rappresentano per noi. Quando muore una persona diventa storia, legenda, ma quando e viva e una realtà dinamica, una esperienza, che modella e cambia le nostre vite per sempre. Questo e quello che ho imparato io dalla storia di Romeo e Julietta ed in virtù di tutto questo io vi dico di nuovo: CARPE DIEM!

Today I went to visit Verona, a town with an extraordinary, romantic and special story. But I ask myself something, why do we remember persons with such great interest only after they die? We should learn to appreciate people when they are alive, enjoy all the moments spent with them, appreciate them for everything they are, for everything they can become and for everything they represent for us. When a person dies he becomes a story, a legend, but when he's alive he is a dynamic reality, an experience that changes and shapes our lives forever. This is what I learned from the story of Romeo and Juliet and in virtue of all of this I am telling you again: CARPE DIEM!
